Hybrid-Electric Aviation – From Concept to Live Engine Run in 90 Days & 1/5th of Cost
The Operational Challenge
A foreign sustainable aviation scale-up required immediate physical validation for a novel hybrid-electric propulsion system. Because the electric propulsion and hybrid control systems featured novel characteristics without existing benchmark data, physical testing was an essential requirement for certification. The client needed to bypass 12–18 month international expansion delays and transition rapidly from digital simulation to live field validation.
Proving Ground & Infrastructure Setup
To provide the complete field testing environment: High Voltage power source, secure site, data connection, control cabin, assembly area and test engineers.

Heavy Structural Test Rig Fabrication
FrontServe facilitated the complete end-to-end design, build, assembly, commissioning, running of the rig and decommissioning. Acting as the prime engineering contractor, we translated system requirements into physical hardware.
